Alpha's Opinion: December, 2007

Welcome, one and all. This website has grown dramatically in it's first three years. When I first hosted it back in December of 2004, I didn't know what to expect. Now, three years and 1,300+ hits later, I've constructed something that I'm very proud of. e-AAGH.net was something I put together as a hobby project, almost just to see if I could. e-AAGH.net now has more hits then I expected it would ever get, and from all around the world, too. On days where I think I don't want to do this anymore because no one really cares, I remind myself of how far we - not I, we - have come, and I'm back on track again. Without visitors like all of you I would have scrapped this site and changed projects entirely.

You'll notice that I made an appearance change. What started as a way of identifying which platform you're reading a review for has become a unified title for each platform, designed to ease navigation. A new, fancier logo was also constructed that I think looks a little slicker. I think that having the platform logos on a stark, white background gives the site a clean look. I'll also fess up to changing a few reviews. After careful consideration, I found a few reviews were either too harsh or too lenient, and they have been changed accordingly. Two that stand out are Madden NFL 08 on PC and NBA 2K8 on Xbox 360.

I keep getting the urge to host a sports section, but I tried that once (does anyone remember The ASP?) and it failed miserably. Thus, there will be no sports additions to e-AAGH.net in the near future.

In any case, I'm looking forward to the new year and another 12 months of e-AAGH.net gaming coverage, and I hope to see you all here to enjoy it. Alphasim out.
